Trafford Centre

The Trafford Centre is Britain’s largest indoor shopping centre, with more than 200 shops. The centre also accommodates leisure facilities including a 20-screen cinema, laser quest, miniature golf, and an 18-lane bowling alley to keep the kids entertained for hours! The centre boasts Europe’s largest food court, a huge selection of restaurants and is also home to a Sealife Centre and Legoland Discovery Centre.

Flixton Urmston Davyhulme Carnival

Flixton, Urmston & Davyhulme

The annual carnival kicks off this year from the Church Inn on Church Road, Flixton at 12:30 pm. The parade goes through Flixton, Urmston and Davyhulme and arrives at Woodsend Playing Fields where you can find a funfair, performers and a whole host of carnival stalls. The carnival raises money for chosen local charities, so make sure you get involved!

Billyfest

Urmston Social Club

Billyfest is a full day charity event, set up in memory of Billy Molden who sadly lost his life to cancer, aged just 14. The festival will pay tribute to Billy whilst raising money for UK charity DreamFlight. You can expect bands and music acts, a bouncy castle, BBQ’s, face painting and much more. Wristbands cost £5 and are available from Urmston Social Club (under 3’s go free).
